Known as Alaska's "First City" because it's the first major port many cruises visit when sailing north, Ketchikan is famous for its rich Native Alaskan culture, colorful waterfront, and abundant wildlife. Stroll along historic Creek Street, browse local art galleries, or keep an eye out for bald eagles and salmon. If adventure is calling, this is also a great place for ziplining, floatplane tours, fishing, or visiting nearby Misty Fjords National Monument.
Welcome to Alaska's capital! Surrounded by mountains and water, Juneau is only accessible by air or sea, giving it a true "end of the road" feel. This is one of the best places to go whale watching, ride the Mount Roberts Tramway for incredible views, or visit the famous Mendenhall Glacier. If you prefer a slower pace, stroll through downtown, browse local shops, or enjoy fresh Alaskan seafood while taking in the scenery.
Step back in time in Skagway, a charming Gold Rush town filled with colorful historic buildings and mountain views around every corner. One of the most popular excursions is the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, where you'll travel through breathtaking scenery on one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Whether you're exploring the town, learning about its Gold Rush history, or heading into the mountains, Skagway is a favorite stop for many Alaska cruisers.
Glacier Bay isn't a port you visit. It's an experience you take in from every deck, every lounge, and every balcony.
As we cruise through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll witness towering glaciers, rugged mountains, and some of the most spectacular scenery in Alaska. Be sure to keep your camera ready because wildlife sightings are always a possibility.
Our final port brings us to beautiful Victoria, located on Canada's Vancouver Island. Known for its charming waterfront, flower gardens, and British influence, Victoria is the perfect place for a relaxing evening. Explore the Inner Harbour, browse unique shops, or simply take in the beautiful scenery before returning to the ship for our final evening onboard.
How do I reserve my cabin?
Simply complete the booking form with your cabin preferences and payment information. A $250 deposit per stateroom ($125 per person based on double occupancy) will reserve your spot in our group. I'll take care of the rest and be here to guide you every step of the way.
When is final payment due?
Final payment for this sailing is due March 14, 2027.
Do I need a passport?
Yes. This itinerary includes a stop in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and we require all guests in our group to travel with a valid passport for a smoother travel experience and greater flexibility should unexpected travel disruptions occur.
What are Canada's entry requirements?
Because our itinerary includes a stop in Victoria, British Columbia, all travelers must meet Canada's entry requirements. Certain criminal convictions, including some DUIs, may make a traveler inadmissible to Canada. If you have ever been arrested, charged, or convicted of a criminal offense, please review Canada's entry requirements well before your cruise, as admissibility is determined solely by Canadian authorities. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me before booking so we can discuss your options.
Are flights included?
No. Airfare is not included in the cruise pricing. Flight schedules are typically released about 10-11 months before departure, so we'll begin looking at flight options around August 2026. You're welcome to book your own flights, or I'd be happy to help you find the best option.
What is included in the cruise fare?
Your cruise fare includes your accommodations, meals in the main dining rooms and buffet, entertainment, youth programs (if applicable), and visits to each port of call.
What isn't included?
Items not included are airfare, pre-cruise hotel accommodations, shore excursions, specialty dining, drink packages, Wi-Fi, gratuities, travel insurance, and personal purchases onboard.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities are not included in the standard cruise fare. They can be prepaid before sailing or are included when you purchase a Princess Plus or Princess Premier package. Current prepaid gratuities for balcony cabins are $18 per person, per day.
How do I add a drink package or Wi-Fi?
Once your cruise is booked, you can purchase Princess Plus, Princess Premier, or individual drink and Wi-Fi packages through the Princess app. If you're unsure which option is best, I'm happy to help you compare them.
How do I book shore excursions?
There are so many great options in Alaska! Once your booking is confirmed, you can reserve excursions through the Princess app, or I can help you choose from Princess excursions and trusted local tour operators I've researched and recommend. Is entertainment included?
Yes! Broadway-style production shows, live music, comedians, game shows, movies under the stars, and many other onboard activities are included in your cruise fare. The entertainment schedule will be available closer to our sailing date.
